Welcome to Shobla.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our curated sarees, suits, and juttis. By accessing or making a purchase on Shobla.com, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Product Authenticity & Display Disclaimers
Our collections feature hand-curated, handcrafted Indian textiles, including Banarasi weaves and Rajasthani prints.
Natural Variations: Because these items are handcrafted, minor variations in weave, texture, embroidery, or print are inherent characteristics of the craft and do not qualify as defects.
Color Accuracy: We make every effort to display the colors of our products accurately. However, due to differences in monitor displays and lighting conditions during photography, the actual color of the delivered product may vary slightly. This slight variation is not accepted as a valid ground for return or replacement.
2. Order Acceptance & Right to Cancel
Shobla reserves the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order at our sole discretion.
Pricing & Inventory: If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, or if a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, Shobla reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Fraud Prevention: We reserve the right to cancel any order that our security systems flag as potentially fraudulent without prior notice.
3. Shipping, Delays & Risk of Loss
Our shipping policies are designed to protect both the integrity of our products and our business operations.
Transfer of Risk: All purchases from Shobla are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery of the package to our third-party logistics courier.
Transit Delays: While we provide estimated delivery timelines, Shobla is not liable for any delays caused by courier logistics, extreme weather, strikes, or unforeseeable circumstances (Force Majeure). Delays in transit do not entitle the buyer to cancel a dispatched order or claim compensation.
Delivery Disputes: If a tracking link shows an order as “Delivered” but you have not received it, you must report this to hello@shobla.com within 24 hours. Shobla will raise a dispute with the courier, but we are not strictly liable to refund or replace items marked as successfully delivered by the logistics partner.
4. Strict No-Return Policy
As outlined in our Return Policy, Shobla operates on a strict no-return and no-exchange basis once an order has been shipped, to protect the hygiene and delicate nature of our curated textiles. Returns are only approved in the event of a demonstrably damaged, defective, or incorrect item being delivered, provided it is reported with unboxing video proof within 48 hours of delivery.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on Shobla.com, including product designs, photographs, logos, text, and branding (“We curate rather than collect”), is the exclusive intellectual property of Shobla. Any unauthorized reproduction, downloading, or commercial use of our assets is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Shobla and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the website or the purchase of our products. In no event shall Shobla’s total liability to you for any damages exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product in question.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to your use of Shobla.com or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Rohru, Himachal Pradesh
